Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a drop-off program?

All classes and experiences at Little Stories Studio are caregiver-attended.

We believe some of childhood's sweetest moments happen when grown-ups explore alongside the children they love. That's why all of our classes and experiences are caregiver-attended.

What ages is Little Stories Studio for?

Our classes are designed for young children, generally ages 3 months through 6 years, depending on the class, along with a parent, grandparent, or caregiver.

Each class listing includes specific age recommendations to help you choose what's best for your child.

Siblings are welcome to attend with you. Just keep in mind that the toys, materials, and activities are selected specifically for the age group listed, so some may not be appropriate or safe for children outside that age range. We simply want you to know what to expect so you can decide what will work best for your family.

Do I have to commit to a full month?

No long-term commitments are required.

Some classes may run in short sessions, while others are offered as one-time experiences or seasonal events. You can choose what fits your family best.

Do I need to register in advance?

Yes. Advance registration is required to help us keep class sizes small and intentional.

Spots are limited, and we recommend registering early.

What happens during a typical Story Time?

Story Times may include a mix of:

  • Stories and read-aloud time

  • Simple art projects or hands-on activities

  • Music, movement, or imaginative play

  • Time to connect with your child and other families

Every class is designed to spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and provide meaningful opportunities for children and caregivers to learn and connect together.

Should my child attend if they're sick?

To help keep our community healthy, we ask that children and caregivers stay home if they're experiencing a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, runny nose, sneezing, coughing, sore throat, rashes or other contagious symptoms. We appreciate your help in keeping Little Stories Studio a healthy place for everyone.

What if my child needs a break or gets upset?

That’s completely okay.

Children are welcome to move, observe, or take a break as needed. Caregivers know their children best, and we want everyone to feel comfortable learning at their own pace.

Do you offer birthday parties or private events?

Yes! We offer birthday celebrations and small private gatherings.

Please visit our Parties page or contact us for availability and details.

How many children are in each class?

Class sizes are intentionally kept small to create a more personal and peaceful experience for everyone. Eight children per class is usually the maximum.

What is your cancellation policy?

Policies vary by class or event and are listed at the time of registration. If you have questions or special circumstances, please reach out - we’re happy to help when we can.

How do you keep Little Stories Studio safe and clean?

Our studio is cleaned and sanitized regularly with child-safe disinfectants, with special attention given to shared materials and high-touch surfaces.

We also have an air purifier that runs continuously to catch germs before they can be shared.

Toys, materials, and activities are carefully chosen with children's safety and development in mind. We also ask caregivers to remain with their children at all times.

Are snacks or food allowed during classes?

To help keep our studio clean and create the safest possible environment for all children, outside food and snacks are not permitted during classes.

Children and caregivers are welcome to bring water in a closed, spill-proof bottle. Infant formula in a closed bottle is also permitted.

We appreciate your understanding as we work to create a safe and inclusive space for everyone.

What if my child has allergies or special considerations?

We encourage families to share any allergy or safety-related concerns during registration or by contacting us directly.

While we cannot guarantee an allergy-free environment, we take precautions and do our best to create a space where all children can participate comfortably.
