Is this a drop-off program?
Nope! Little Stories Studio is a caregiver-attended play space, which means a parent, grandparent, or other responsible adult stays with their child throughout their visit.
We believe some of childhood's sweetest moments happen when grown-ups slow down, play, and explore alongside the children they love. That's what Little Stories Studio is all about!
What ages is Little Stories Studio for?
Little Stories Studio is thoughtfully designed for children ages 0–8, with activities and play experiences especially suited for babies, toddlers, preschoolers and young elementary-age children.
Every child develops at their own pace, so there's no pressure to participate in any particular activity. Little ones are free to explore what interests them!
Older siblings are welcome to join in the fun, too, as long as they play safely and respectfully alongside our younger guests.
Do I have to commit to a full month?
Not at all! At Little Stories Studio, you can come play whenever it works for your family. There's no membership or monthly commitment required.
Simply stop by during our Drop-In Play hours, pay for your visit, and play as long as you would like or until we close (whichever come first).
Special events and classes are also available individually, so you can choose the experiences that fit your family's interests and schedule.
Do I need to register in advance?
Yes and No!
Drop-In Play - Advance registration is not required for Drop-In Play - we take walk-ins as long as space allows. You're welcome to stop by anytime during our Monday and Friday play hours (8:30–11:30 AM) and stay for as long as you like (or until we close, whichever comes first).
Story-Times, Special Events + Classes - Advance registration is required. Please register on the website.
We do have limited space to keep our studio comfortable for everyone, so walk-ins are welcome as space allows. If you'd like to guarantee your spot, you can reserve online in advance!
What can my child do during Drop-In Play?
There's always something fun to explore at Little Stories Studio! During Drop-In Play, your child can enjoy a variety of hands-on activities, which may include:
Water play and sensory exploration
Kinetic sand and other tactile activities
Creative art projects
Imaginative play in our play kitchen and other play areas
Books, toys, and opportunities to discover something new!
Activities may change from visit to visit, so there's often something new to discover.
Best of all, there's no schedule to follow! Your child can explore at their own pace, spend extra time on their favorite activities, and enjoy playing alongside you.
Should my child attend if they're sick?
We want Little Stories Studio to be a happy, healthy place for everyone!
If you or your child is feeling unwell, we kindly ask that you stay home and visit us another day. Please do not attend if you or your child has a fever, vomiting, diarrhea, a new or worsening cough, sore throat, unexplained rash, or other symptoms of a contagious illness.
Children and caregivers should be fever-free for at least 24 hours without fever-reducing medication and free from vomiting or diarrhea for at least 24 hours before visiting.
We appreciate your help in keeping our little community healthy and safe!
What if my child needs a break or gets upset?
That’s completely okay.
Children are welcome to move, observe, or take a break as needed. Caregivers know their children best, and we want everyone to feel comfortable learning at their own pace.
Do you offer birthday parties or private events?
Yes! We offer birthday celebrations and small private gatherings.

How many children are in each session?
Session sizes are intentionally kept small to create a more personal and peaceful experience for everyone. Ten children per session is usually the maximum.
What is your cancellation policy?
Plans change, especially with little ones! Since Drop-In Play doesn't require advance registration, there's no need to cancel if you were simply planning to stop by.
If you've reserved a spot in advance and can no longer attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can make room for another family.
Cancellation and refund policies for special events and classes may vary and will be listed at the time of registration. If you have questions or special circumstances, please reach out. We're happy to help when we can!
Where are you located?
Little Stories Studio is located at 610 South Main Street in downtown Findlay, Ohio.
You are welcome to park on Main Street or around the corner on Lincoln Street.

How do you keep Little Stories Studio safe and clean?
Our studio is cleaned and sanitized regularly with child-safe disinfectants, with special attention given to shared materials and high-touch surfaces.
We also have an air purifier that runs continuously to catch germs before they can be shared.
Toys, materials, and activities are carefully chosen with children's safety and development in mind. We also ask caregivers to remain with their children at all times.
Are snacks or food allowed during classes?
To help keep our studio clean and create the safest possible environment for all children, outside food and snacks are not permitted during classes.
Children and caregivers are welcome to bring water in a closed, spill-proof bottle. Infant formula in a closed bottle is also permitted.
We appreciate your understanding as we work to create a safe and inclusive space for everyone.
What if my child has allergies or special considerations?
We encourage families to share any allergy or safety-related concerns during registration or by contacting us directly.
While we cannot guarantee an allergy-free environment, we take precautions and do our best to create a space where all children can participate comfortably.
