Who we are
Little Stories Studio is a cozy indoor play space in downtown Findlay where little ones can explore, create, and discover through play!
We believe some of childhood's sweetest moments happen when grown-ups slow down and explore alongside the children they love. That's why we've created a welcoming space where families can spend meaningful time together, make memories, and enjoy the simple joy of play.
Our thoughtfully designed studio offers hands-on sensory activities, creative experiences, imaginative play, and opportunities for children to follow their natural curiosity. From splashing at the water table to creating something new, there's always something fun to discover.
Many of our activities are inspired by Montessori principles, with an emphasis on independence, hands-on exploration, and child-led discovery. We believe children learn best when they're free to explore, experiment, and play at their own pace.
Our Approach
Every detail at Little Stories Studio is thoughtfully chosen with young children in mind, from the toys on our shelves to the activities waiting to be explored.
You'll find open-ended, Montessori-inspired toys and play materials made from natural materials like wood and silicone whenever possible. Rather than relying on flashing lights, loud sounds, or batteries, we choose materials that encourage creativity, imagination, problem-solving, and hands-on discovery.
We also believe that some of the best learning happens through play! Our sensory activities, creative experiences, and imaginative play opportunities give children the freedom to explore at their own pace, follow their interests, and discover something new.
Our goal is simple: to provide a calm, welcoming space where children can be curious, creative, and completely themselves.

Hi, I'm Miss Mandy!
I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and have spent 20+ years teaching and working with young children. I've always loved children's books, storytelling, and watching little ones discover the world around them. I believe some of the most meaningful learning happens through simple, everyday play.
I created Little Stories Studio to give families a welcoming place to slow down, explore, and enjoy time together. My hope is that children leave with happy memories, new discoveries, and a little more confidence, while their grown-ups leave feeling connected and encouraged.
One of my greatest joys is bringing families together and creating a space where friendships and community can grow, one little story at a time.

Morning Studio Guide
Katelyn loves welcoming families to Little Stories Studio and helping little ones discover all the fun waiting for them during Drop-In Play. As the mom of a young daughter who often joins her at the studio, she understands firsthand how meaningful it is to find places where both children and caregivers feel comfortable, connected, and encouraged.
When she's not at Little Stories Studio, Katelyn teaches piano and enjoys building relationships with the families she serves. She looks forward to getting to know you and your little one during Drop-In Play!
