Who we are
Little Stories Studio is a parent-and-child learning studio designed for meaningful connection.
We offer Story Times, Open Play sessions, and special experiences designed to help young children and the adults who love them learn, play, and grow together.
We believe some of childhood's sweetest moments happen when grown-ups slow down and explore alongside the children they love. That's why every experience at Little Stories Studio is designed to nurture both learning and connection.
Many of our activities are inspired by Montessori principles. That means you'll find carefully chosen materials, hands-on learning, opportunities for independence, and plenty of time for child-led exploration. While we aren't a Montessori school, we embrace many of these principles because we believe children learn best through meaningful play, curiosity, and discovery.
Our Approach
Every detail is chosen with young children in mind - from the books we read to the materials we provide.
You'll find many open-ended, Montessori-inspired toys and learning materials made from natural materials like wood and silicone whenever possible. Rather than relying on flashing lights, loud sounds, or batteries, we choose materials that encourage creativity, imagination, problem-solving, and hands-on discovery.
Meet the Team
Mandy S.
Owner + Teacher
Hi, I'm Miss Mandy!
I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and have spent 20+ years teaching and working with young children. I've always had a love for storytelling, learning through play, and helping children discover the world around them. Some of my earliest and happiest memories involve children's books, and that love has only grown over the years. I delight in bringing stories to life through thoughtfully planned, hands-on experiences that spark curiosity, creativity, and connection.
At Little Stories Studio, my heart is creating meaningful moments where children and their caregivers can learn and explore side by side. I believe stories are powerful - not just for building early literacy, but for nurturing relationships, inspiring imagination, and creating lasting memories. One of my greatest joys is connecting families with one another and creating a welcoming space where friendships, confidence, and community can grow - one story at a time.

Morning Studio Guide
Katelyn loves welcoming families to Little Stories Studio's morning Open Play sessions. As the mom of a young daughter who often joins her at the studio, she understands firsthand how meaningful it is to find places where both children and caregivers feel comfortable, connected, and encouraged.
When she's not at Little Stories Studio, Katelyn teaches piano and enjoys building relationships with the families she serves. She looks forward to getting to know you and your little one during Open Play!
We're proud to be part of the Findlay community and are honored to create a place where local families can learn, play, connect, and make lasting memories together.
We can't wait to welcome you to Little Stories Studio!
